Each member receives cues suited to their own body, not a one-size instruction

At ShiHa, we don't hand students a perfect posture — we help them see themselves clearly, the way a mirror does. This is how independence in practice is built.
We believe in guiding students toward a self-sufficient practice: you may need a teacher's support to understand a concept, but you should never need one to make it a part of your life. Every correction is explained — you learn not just what to adjust, but the principle behind it.
We never treat imperfection as failure, because there is no single definition of a "correct" pose — every body has its own starting point and its own needs. In essence, we help you develop your own yoga, shaped by what your body actually requires.

Classes are held live on Google Meet. Group sessions typically run 60 minutes; personal sessions are shaped around what each practitioner needs — many prefer shorter, 30-minute sessions.
We deliberately keep our group batches small, so every member receives real attention — individual posture correction and suggestions planned around their specific needs, not a single routine delivered to everyone alike.

Instruction is where an online class either works or doesn't — so ours is built to remove guesswork entirely. Students move through a smooth, guided flow simply by listening with awareness. What our members consistently point to as the defining quality of a ShiHa class is the precision of our instruction — because online, unclear cues can't be fixed with a hands-on adjustment the way they can be in a studio.

New practitioners are guided at a gentler pace, with simpler instruction until ready for more
Correction is explained, not just given — so awareness builds with every session
Members stay connected with us for as long as they'd like — reaching out for wellness guidance never comes with an additional fee. Even if a member pauses or discontinues their classes, they can continue to ask questions and receive expert advice on routine, diet, and lifestyle.
Our support isn't limited to the duration of a class — it extends through the transition into independent, self-guided practice, because that transition is the actual goal.
