  • What is a live yoga class online and how does it work?

    A live yoga class is a predetermined class where you attend in‐real time online with other via video conferencing (Zoom, etc.). The instructor is conducting the class and you are attending live from your location. During the sunset yoga you’ll receive a link, join the live stream, and enjoy instant instruction and feedback. The live setting preserves the “group energy” of a class, so you stay motivated and the teacher can adjust the pace and modifications to the group’s energy.
  • Do you offer both personalised yoga sessions and group yoga class options?

    Yes — Shiha Yoga offers both bespoke or one-on-one yoga sessions tailored to your unique needs and group yoga classes (shared sessions with other students). These are perfect if you have specific objectives, injuries or lack of time. Group classes are fantastic for connection and motivation, as well as a set routine. so you pick what suits your lifestyle best. .
  • Are your group yoga classes suitable for beginners?

    Yes. Our live online yoga class schedule offers a variety of classes for all levels including beginners. Instructors will offer easy to understand instructions, modifications and cues so you can feel comfortable in each pose.   • How do I join a live yoga class online with Shiha Yoga?

    In order to take part in a live yoga class online with Shiha Yoga just select a class from our timetable, sign-up (and pay if necessary), an secure link will be sent to you via email. At the appointed class time, click on the link, sign up, and you will be connected with your instructor along with other students. Be sure to login a few minutes early to get settled, test your audio/video, and you will be set when the session begins.
  • What if I miss a scheduled class — can I access a recording?

    If you miss a booked live yoga class online, check with us at Shiha Yoga — lots of our classes are recorded and can be viewed on demand for a limited amount of time. But to best benefit (particularly if you are attending personal yoga classes or specialised group sessions) we suggest you sign in live so that you can receive Instructor feedback in real-time. Just strongly check class description when sign up for class with recording option and you can check recoding link after class is finished.
  • Are personalised yoga sessions really tailored to my needs?

    Yes – our private yoga classes will be tailored to your personal objectives, current physical condition, experience, and availability. Whether you’re rehabbing an injury, looking to increase mobility, strengthen, or just take your practice deeper, your teacher will create a plan just for you. The one-to-one (online) format enables more focused attention, modifications and progression at your pace.It’s a great complement, or alternative to, traditional group yoga classes.
  • Is online yoga safe and effective compared to in‐person yoga?

    Online classes can be safe and effective, with the right instructor. At Shiha Yoga we believe in using clear verbal cues, visual demonstrations and safe adjustments. We recommend that in live classes you listen to your body, never push through pain, and modify as necessary. A lot of people are especially attracted by the convenience and availability of online yoga. That being said, if you have any major medical conditions it might be a good idea to consult your doctor before attending, and inform your instructor.
  • What are the benefits of regularly doing a live yoga class online?
